Evidence before eloquence

Primary sources first. Every number is confirmed by two independent sources or labeled single-source. Every piece carries an “as of” date. Product and model names are checked against their maker’s own documentation.

Sources belong beside the claim, in the margin. Claims that age quickly are checked again quickly.

What we will not publish

Income claims. Uncited statistics. Invented quotes. Synthetic images, audio, or video of real people. Identifiable client situations. Sponsored content in the publication.

The bar

Accuracy, usefulness, novelty, the author’s first-hand contribution, and craft. Flagship pieces require a final review by the editor-in-chief. No volume target overrides the right to stop publication.

Corrections

The publication’s standard is to correct a verified error within twenty-four hours, on the piece and in the corrections log. Each correction identifies what changed and how the process will improve.

Use of AI

Agents gather signals, prepare drafts, check links and style, and format. A person decides what is true and what ships. Each piece’s colophon names the stage it has reached.
